How to Play Parallel

What is Parallel?
Parallel is a sci-fi franchise and trading card game (TCG) empowering collectors to truly own their cards and other game items. The cards can be used to build a deck and play in an online PC game which is currently in closed beta. It is a competitive card game where players build decks and face off, bank energy, and build armies to decide the fate of humanity.

1. Create an account by visiting Parallel’s official website. Game is in closed beta right now so use YGG’s referral link to gain beta access.

2. Download Parallel and install it.

3. Open the launcher and log in your account. Wait for it to finish updating.
4. Play the game!
Note: NFTs are not required to play the game. However, if you want to use a Parallel NFT or utilize/withdraw $PRIME in-game, you need to connect your wallet on Parallel’s official website.
1. Download Metamask or other supported wallets such as Coinbase Wallet, etc.

2. Top up your wallet with Ethereum ($ETH) or Prime ($PRIME).
Buy $ETH directly from your wallet using credit card or other payment methods.
Withdraw $ETH from any Centralized Exchange (CEX) to your wallet.
Go to Opensea and look for Parallel Alpha. You can buy NFTs from either collection, depending on the network you will use.

Start purchasing cards or NFTs that you want to use in-game.
There are two (2) game modes in Parallel: Rookie Mode and Quick Play.
1. Rookie Mode - Players will receive a corresponding Paragon’s starter deck plus a legendary card for playing five (5) games using that Paragon’s deck. Players will be equipped as they delve deeper into the world of "Parallel", and further refine their strategies as they compete against other players and explore the game's various challenges and modes.
2. Quick Mode - Consists of:
Ranked Play - Competitive mode for climbing leaderboards
Unranked Play - Casual matches for testing decks without ranking pressure
Vs AI - Battle AI opponents to hone your skills and test decks
Private Matches - Challenge friends in custom matches
The game features five distinct paragons, each with unique abilities and playstyles:
1. Marcolian - Specializes in lightning-based attacks and fast aggression, aiming to overwhelm opponents swiftly through aggressive plays.
2. Augencore - Utilizes war machines, upgrades, and unit enhancements to gradually gain dominance on the battlefield, focusing on building up power over time.
3. Shroud - Excels in late-game strategies by manipulating the game state and banishing opponent resources, aiming to secure victory in the later stages of the match.
4. Kathari - Relies on advanced technology to create clones and overwhelm opponents with sheer numbers, employing deception tactics for victory.
5. Earthen: Emphasizes defensive strategies and longevity by deploying numerous defenders, aiming to outlast opponents and secure victory over time.

Objective - The primary objective of the game is to reduce the opponent’s life points to zero. Players achieve this by strategically deploying units, casting spells, and using abilities to deal damage to the opponent.
Starting Hand - Both players begin with five (5) cards in their starting hand. If these cards do not align with their strategy, players can redraw a portion of their hand during the Mulligan Phase.
Drawing Cards - During their turn, players draw cards from their deck. These cards can be used to play units, cast spells, or activate abilities in the battlefield.
Banking Resources - Players can choose to “bank” their resources during their turn. Banking resources allows players to accumulate energy for future rounds, enabling them to play higher-cost cards or activate more powerful abilities later in the game.
Banking Limit - Players can only bank up to a maximum of 10 cards. Once this limit is reached, players cannot bank additional resources, so strategic planning is essential to ensure optimal resource management throughout the game.
Energy Costs - Each card in the game requires a certain amount of energy to be played. Players must manage their energy resources efficiently to maximize their plays and maintain control over the battlefield.
Ano ang Parallel?
Ang Parallel ay isang sci-fi trading card game (TCG) kung saan ang mga players ang siyang tunay na nagmamay-ari ng kanilang mga cards at iba pang mga game items bilang ang mga ito ay mga NFT o non-fungible token. Gamit ang mga card ay maaring magbuo ang mga players ng isang deck para makisali sa mga online na laro para sa PC at makipagtagisan sa ibang mga players. Napakakompetibo ng paglalaro ng Parallel kung saan susubukan ang galing ng mga players sa pamamahala ng mga resources at energy at pagmamaniobra ng kanilang mga hukbo upang magtagumpay.
Paano gumawa ng account sa Parallel?

Mga Game Mode sa Parallel
May dalawang (2) mode ng laro sa Parallel: Rookie Mode at Quick Play.
Rookie Mode - Gagamit ang mga players ng Paragon's starter deck at isang Legendary card sa sa paglalaro ng limang (5) rounds.
Quick Mode - Ang Quick Mode ay binubuo ng:
Ranked Play - Competitive mode kung saan makakuha ang mga players ng mga puntos para umakyat sa leaderboard.
Unranked Play - Casual matches para sa pag-practice at pag-aaral ng mga deck nang walang kasasmang pressure sa ranking.
Vs AI - Maglaro laban sa mga AI opponents upang mapabuti ang iyong mga kakayahan at ma-testing ang mga deck.
Private Matches - Hamunin ang mga kaibigan na maglaro ng custom matches.
Mga Paragon
Ang laro ay may limang (5) uri ng mga Paragon, bawat isa ay may natatanging mga kakayahan at pamamaraan ng paglalaro:
Marcolian - Espesyalista sa mabilisan at agresibo na istilo ng pagatake, layunin na biglain ang mga kalaban.
Augencore - Gumagamit ng mga mabibigat na makinarya at mga unit upgrades at enhancements upang unti-unting makakuha ng advantage sa labanan–nakatuon sa pagpapalakas ng kapangyarihan.
Shroud - Mahusay sa mga late-game strategy sa pamamagitan ng pagmanipula sa mga resources at makalamang sa mga huling yugto ng laro.
Kathai - Umaasa sa advanced na teknolohiya upang lumikha ng mga clone at i-overwhelm ang mga kalaban sa labis na dami ng pwersa.
Earthen - Binibigyang-diin ang depensa upang matagalan ang laban at mapanatiling matatag ang posisyon.
Paano laruin ang Parallel?
Objective - Ang pangunahing layunin ng laro ay bawasan ang mga life points ng kalaban hanggang ito ay umabot sa zero. Makakamit ito ng mga players sa pamamagitan ng estratehikong paraan, pagbabato ng mga spells, at paggamit ng mga kakayahan upang magdulot ng pinsala sa kalaban.
Starting Hand - Parehong players ay nagsisimula na may limang (5) cards sa kanilang starting hand. Kung ang mga cards na ito ay hindi tugma sa kanilang strategy, maaaring bumunot uli ng ibang cards habang nasa Mulligan Phase.
Drawing Cards - Sa turn ng bawat player, kumukuha siya ng cards mula sa kanyang deck. Ang mga cards na ito ay maaaring gamitin upang maglaro ng mga unit, magbato ng mga spells, o i-activate ang mga kakayahan ng unit sa battlefield.
Pagba-bank ng Resources - Maaaring pumili ang mga players na "mag-bank" ng kanilang mga resources sa kanilang turn. Ang pagba-bank ng resources ay paraan para makapag-ipon ng energy para sa mga susunod na rounds, upang magamit ang mga card na may mas mataas na kailangang energy.
Banking Limit - Maaaring mag-bank ang mga players hanggang sampung (10) cards. Kapag naabot na ang limit na ito, hindi na maaaring mag-bank ng karagdagang mga resources, kaya mahalaga ang maayos na pagpaplano at pamamahala ng resources sa buong laro.
Energy Costs - Bawat card ay nangangailangan ng energy upang magamit. Kailangang pagisipan ng mga players ng maayos ang kanilang mga energy resources upang mapalakas ang kanilang deck at mapanatiling kontrolado ang labanan.
