Guild of Guardians (GoG) Game Guide

Guild of Guardians (GoG) stands as an epic fantasy role-playing game (RPG) where players lead their team of Guardians through diverse dungeons, battling monsters and bosses to collect materials, resources, and earn experience points. Developed by Immutable Games in collaboration with Mineloader Studios, this mobile game is currently undergoing a regional test launch.
The game is free to play, allowing players to summon a team of Guardians and level them up as they navigate dungeons. Each Guardian requires armor and weapons, which can be upgraded. The ultimate goal is to create the strongest team capable of adapting to any situation, defeating bosses, and earning valuable, tradable rewards.
In Guild of Guardians, the strategy of a team of Guardians is just as vital as their individual skillsets. The synergy between Guardians is crucial, determined by their attributes. Each Guardian possesses faction, aptitude, and domain attributes, combining with others for stacked damage or advantages in dungeons.
The Guardians
Guardians can be summoned with Summoning Stones, Rubies, and Calling Crystals collected through the store and/or battles. In order to win, players must strategize around the Role, Stats, Gear, and Skills for each Guardian in their team.
Dungeons and Gameplay
In GoG, dungeons are the main adventure that come with both danger and opportunities. When you meet enemies in dungeons, just press "Fight," and the battle starts by itself.
But first, be smart about your Guardians. Strategize around their different roles, domain advantages, and how best to assemble them in the party lineup. Think back about what each Guardian is good at. If they're good up close, put them in the front. If they attack from far away, put them in the back. Mages help your team with special skills, so keep them in the back. Tanks are strong and protect your team, so they go in the front.
Aside from formation, you also have to consider each Guardian’s skill. Every Guardian in your team has a special ultimate skill that's super powerful. This skill can really turn the tide of battles in your favor. When a Guardian's ultimate skill is ready, you'll see its avatar at the bottom right corner of the screen start glowing. Tap on that avatar to unleash the ultimate skill of that guardian. And remember, use the ultimate skills at the right time and in the right situation! Don't waste them on easy situations.
After each successful battle, you get gear, currency, runes, and other resources needed to level up in the game. Use them wisely!
Runes
As you venture through the dungeons, you get to unlock runes within these dungeons. Runes are excellent for giving your entire team powerful buffs during battles, helping you conquer each dungeon challenge with success.
After every victorious dungeon battle, you get to select one rune from the three available. Take your time to read through all the rune descriptions and make a wise choice. Once you've decided on a specific rune, activate its power in your gameplay to give your Guardians an instant and massive boost in performance. So, be wise in your choice, pick the best-suited rune, and enhance your gameplay experience in GoG.
Runes are classified as Legendary, Epic or Rare. When choosing runes, keep in mind that some runes apply to all Guardians regardless of their faction, while some runes are only applicable based on Guardian faction and role.
Crafting
You also have the ability to craft items in the game, ensuring that the equipment economy is entirely player-driven and fair. There's an extensive array of armor, gear, and weapons available for crafting and trading within the GoG gameplay. When you opt to craft items, aim for higher-tier ones as they provide more significant buffs.
Choosing higher buffs will significantly enhance the performance of all the Guardians equipped with those items, granting them stat bonuses. Additionally, crafting and equipping gear sets allow you to unlock specific bonus set buffs for your Guardians, making them even more formidable in the game.
Successful runs can also yield bags, satchels, and chests. These items are a force multiplier! As long as they’re not on cooldown, you can use them to produce iron, leather, linen and other raw materials used for crafting.
Enlightenment
Guardians play a pivotal role in GOG, leading players through various challenges. They can be leveled, enlightened, and ascended using in-game resources. Enlightening a Guardian involves a combination of duplicate Guardians (with fewer stars) and Faction Ash. Faction Ash is a resource obtained by sacrificing Guardians belonging to a specific Faction, such as Redeemers, Keepers, & Imperials. Enlightening a Guardian raises its level cap, enhancing potential stats, abilities, and itemization choices.
Other Game Menus
The game comes in two modes: Endless and Adventure. In the beginning, you will be tasked to battle various dungeons in Adventure mode in order to gain resources and level up your team. Once fifteen levels have been completed in the throne room, the Endless mode is unlocked. Once a certain level is hit, the Questing menu gets unlocked too. Participate in daily quests to get additional resources for leveling up and crafting.
